Brindalyn WebsterBrindalyn Webster, USA – assist: Esther Shalev-Gerz, Annika Lundgren
Brindalyn Webster's work is the search for raw theater. The output of each project is slightly different; some create stories, some create photos, some create songs. Whether it is between Webster and the person she interviews, or the audience and the resulting work of art, providing space and attention through listening is an essential part of her work. In the spring of 2009 Webster completed her MFA in Social Practice at California College of the Arts. In the summer of 2009 she was a resident at Skowhegan School of Art, in East Madison, Maine. Her latest project, El Cancionero de Nashira, a collection of original songs based on oral histories and melodies from an eco-village in Colombia, was published by Asociación Mujeres Cabeza de Familia. Her work can be viewed at http://www.brindalyn.com/

Carolina Jonsson, Sverige - assist: Katarina Andersson Winberg
