The course is for artists with a master's degree in fine arts (or equivalent) who wish to develop their artistry in a new context, with all the opportunities the university has to offer.
You apply in two steps:

CV/Résumé
A curriculum vitae (CV) of a maximum of two pages listing your training and professional background and experiences.
Statement
In a document of 500 - 1000 words:

Portfolio
Your artistic portfolio is one of the most important parts of your application. It should contain documentation of your artistic work. The aim of the portfolio is to present in the clearest possible manner the development of your artistic practice. Limit your portfolio to 6-8 independent works and a maximum total of 15 images.
Note that without these documents, your application will be voided.

You can submit a digital portfolio on a CD or DVD in an envelope with your cv/resume and personal statement.

Portfolios larger than 20 MByte should be sent using a file sharing service such as Sprend.com or similar services - make sure your submission are clearly marked with your name. Also make sure that you get a confirmation mail back to you – if you do not receive one within four working days after you have sent the portfolio, send a reminder to the same address. Your portfolio is not considered submitted unless you receive a confirmation from us.
Portfolio Guidelines for Digital Portfolios
Digitally submitted material should be accessible and readable on a standard computer. The extent of your portfolio should not extend more than 6-8 independent works. The admission jury is not required to review material of extensive length. Limit and focus your portfolio, and keep it concise. CDs and DVDs should have your name written on them with permanent marker (no adhesive labels).
The electronic files may include any combination of still images, videos, URLs, sound-based work, and other work. Directions for properly preparing these materials follow.
Images, Sound and Video
Submitted images, sounds and videos should be in general, standard formats, with files named lastname_firstname.filetype (.jpg, .mp3, .mov, etc)
Compress images that are larger than 5 MByte each.
Web-based Work
Web-based work submitted for consideration must be uploaded and operative on the World Wide Web from January 16 to May 15 2012.
Inventory List
Your application should include an inventory of all submitted work in an Adobe Acrobat (.pdf), or plaintext (.txt) file.
This inventory should include file name, title, medium, dimensions, date of creation, URLs if needed and a brief description of no more than two sentences for each work. Name the inventory list like this: lastname_firstname_inventory.pdf (.txt)
